i have uploaded a selection of CD covers i have made over the past couple of years for various musicians (mostly David Burns!)...

i am worknig on another couple that will be up in the next few weeks.

i decided, after nearly a year, to upload a small series of photographs of Doune Castle that I took around this time last year as a favour to a friend who was on his way to Malawi for 6 months volunteering...

... i spent quite a while on these photos on and off, and am not 100% happy with them, but i think i've done as much as i can, so here they are (check the gallery).

not even sure if thats how decisions is spelt!!!

anyhoo... i have decided that, along with some new photos of Missing Cat (coming very shortly), i will be putting up more of the Rainbow Rooms photos... BUT IN COLOUR!!!!!

the decision (does that look right?) to do this was because some of the entries were done in colour and looked great... and hey! its nice to have a bit of a change, thought i love black and white...

i also have to rake through my back catalogue to find 6 suitable local landscape photos for a project with Tom (toms-art) we're working on...

and a CD cover that i've been fiddling with since July last year!

*sigh*

ventured through to edinburgh the other night (Friday) for some booze 'n blues at Cabaret Voltaire...

Son Of Dave was playing and he was quite extraordinary.

anyhoo... Missing Cat were in support, and despite a criminally cut-short set, they were great, and i got lots of new photos to process and upload here...

its been about 2 years since i took photos at a gig... loved it...

cannae wait to get the pics up...

... got a phone call yesterday from Rainbow Rooms International, to inform me in my dozy, sleep-entangled haze, that i won Rainbow Rooms Image Of The Year for the second year running... not sure which particular photo won it yet but i'll update my gallery when i find out...

3 out of the 6 long shortlist were my photos, which made me extrememly proud.
