I went to a 30th Birthday party in Glasgow on Saturday (2nd February) of an old friend i used to share a flat with...

I was a bit unsure at first as i was the youngest person in the room by five years (i'm ony 25!).

alot of the people there had jobs in television and things...

anyhoo, to cut a long and not entirely interesting story mercifully short, i was talking away to a few people, mostly about photography and my ongoing attempts to break into the field in a somewhat professional capacity...

... by the time i'd left the party i'd sold a photo of the Steamship Sir Walter Scott (somewhere in my gallery ) on the strength of a tiny picture of it on my phone, and be offered part-time work as a story-boarder...

... and possibly got a wedding gig in Ireland, which is always good...

... so all in all, it turned out to be a good trip...

... would have been better had i not had to shell out £40 on a taxi home and then lose my grey beanie hat in the rain...
